Like the original Forty Niners of 1849, San Francisco 49ers football is defined by perseverance and passion. The team's pursuit of innovation and success on and off the field is fueled by The Faithful, our loyal fanbase, who remain by the team's side every step of the way. In preparation of welcoming back The Faithful to Levi's Stadium this season, the 49ers have reimagined the fan experience to be more interactive and feature an overarching narrative that represents the team's unique place in Bay Area history.
This season, 49ers home games will tell the story of the organization and give fans the opportunity to experience gameday in a whole new way. With new 4K videoboards, a full-scale technology upgrade, and new gameday elements, fans at Levi's Stadium can enjoy a complete sensory experience geared to make each fan feel like a VIP.
Here's what's new:
Pregame Elements
The Faithful will enjoy a redesigned gameday that starts before stadium doors open. Fans who gather and enter at Dignity Health Gate C will be treated to an "opening ceremony," complete with appearances from the Gold Rush cheerleaders and the 49ers drumline Niner Noise. These iconic members of the 49ers entertainment squad will also be available for meet-and-greets throughout Levi's Stadium in multiple locations on gameday. While walking through the stadium, fans will also come across more locations to sign up for official 49ers Fan Clubs, including Women of the Niners, 49ers Kids Club, 49ers PRIDE, and more. These clubs provide exclusive opportunities for The Faithful to create community and connect with the team in all new ways.
Fans are highly encouraged to be in their seats at least 20 minutes before kickoff to experience the new pregame hype show in full. This completely reimagined entertainment program, including videos, lighting, music, and fan participation, will culminate in a brand-new entry moment for players as they run out onto the field through the Gold Mine Tunnel.
In-Game Elements
Throughout Levi's Stadium, fans will recognize new digital signage and LED Sport Lighting, which allow for more than 3,000 pieces of updated and new signage to be shared on gameday, engaging The Faithful like never before. Additionally, the full-color sport lighting will enhance every gameday, whether it is day or night. The lighting enhancements will be on display pregame and during halftime.
Following the first quarter of every game, there will be aCorgi Cup competition, where corgis will race 1v1. Throughout the season, fans will vote for the eight corgis they wish to see compete at the Corgi Cup championship during The Faithful Appreciation Game in Week 18.
Also new this season, there will be a karaoke sing-along tradition, encouraging full participation from the crowd at each home game.
Team Store
Fans looking to support the team with new gear should check out the remodeled 49ers Team Store presented by Visa. With new displays designed to maximize sales floor inventory and cashless check-out kiosks equipped with RFID technology, shopping for 49ers gear has never been easier. Fans looking to customize their new Levi's jackets can visit the custom shop, where fans can personalize their new gear. The one-stop shop for 49ers apparel and merchandise will carry the new Nike Rivalries collection all season, including the jerseys the team will sport in Week 18.
